The Nemours Children’s Health System seeks an Information Systems Data Architect to join our Biomedical Research Informatics Center on an exciting new project using analyses of Electronic Health Record data to model disease course in a pediatric population. Nemours is one of the nation’s largest pediatric healthcare systems with data from over 1.6 million children in electronic health records extending over more than 15 years. The individual we seek will have strong programming/coding skills in SQL (working in an Oracle and SQL Server environment), intermediate to strong skills developing R scripts for data extraction, management and analysis, at least 3 years of experience with the Epic/Clarity data model (specifically inpatient, outpatient, billing models) and familiarity with the OHDSI/OMOP common data model. This includes the ability to drive, design and develop data architecture to support large data extracts including SQL performance tuning. Candidate will be responsible for leading root cause analysis, support and problem resolution in regards to data extracts. Accountable to following data architecture standards, ensuring appropriate considerations are made for its security, quality and reusability. Preference will be given to individuals with experience using Rstudio and Tidyverse, SSIS ETL tools. QUALIFICATIONS:
