The Center's philosophy on treating eating disorders focuses on providing patients with opportunities to explore and redevelop a healthy relationship with food, helping them eat intuitively according to hunger and fullness. Each patient at the Center receives weekly individual counseling sessions with a Registered Dietitian and attends weekly nutrition classes which focus on a variety of topics such as relearning the ability to sense hunger and fullness, making peace with food, and enjoying the eating experience. The Kitchen Staff work closely with the Dietitians in planning and preparation of meals and snacks.
