Summary of Job Function: Assists senior management by efficiently managing the office of the senior manager(s) to whom he/she is assigned. This includes taking and dispatching telephone messages, correspondence, scheduling, keeping manager informed, storing records for efficient retrieval, assuming independent work projects as needed. Has working knowledge of each support job within the department and can assist and answer questions for customers and other Administrators in someone's absence. Must take team approach.. Communication is key. Information must be readily available and flow freely among all Administrators and administrative staff.. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc Job Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Business school preferred or related secretarial experience and computer literacy. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Five years executive administrative support within Senior Vice President level office or above is required.
