Clarion Psychiatric Center has been a major regional resource for children, adolescents and adults who have psychiatric and behavioral problems, for over 30 years. We offer inpatient services as well as a partial hospitalization program for school children.
The LPN at Clarion Psychiatric Hospital utilizes nursing standards of practice appropriate to assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. Participates in treatment team, communicates patient treatment response, emotional and behavioral changes; milieu dynamics and other pertinent information. Coordinates patient interventions in conjunction with the RN. Provides a safe environment. Makes regular rounds on the unit, meeting with assigned patients each shift. Responsible for medication administration.
