Crescent Pines Hospital is searching for an experienced Dietary Supervisor to work in our busy Dietary Department.
What Role Will You Play?
Team Members in our dietary department perform a variety of roles from preparing meals to serving our patients, staff and physicians and preparing trays for patients on the unit. A smile and a friendly attitude will help make you successful in this role as you interact with co-workers, patients and others. Ensuring your duties are completed successfully and timely are also important in this role. The Dietary Supervisor role is a working leader position responsible for ensuring the hospital provides quality meals and nutritional services to patients, staff, physicians and guests.

What Will You Get To Do?
Food Service Workers are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks:
Assist the Manager in leadership and assigned management duties.
Assign, direct and ensure completion team member tasks and duties.
Prepare meals as outlined on the menu for patients, employees, medical staff and visitors.
Take and record food temperatures at mealtime. Follow recipes and directions as indicated.
Properly clean work area and take down and clean serving line promptly after meals.
Accept and reconcile deliveries and put away stock in a timely manner.
Follow safety regulations regarding water temperature and sanitization procedures. Record temperature of refrigerator.
Placing food on serving line on time, providing sufficient eating utensils, trays, napkins, and paper cups.
Ensure a clean work area - both in the kitchen and dining room.
Serve meals in the cafeteria and assemble individual patient trays and galleys for delivery to the unit.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Follow hospital safety regulations when operating department equipment.
What Does Crescent Pines Require for this Role?
A high school diploma, GED or equivalent is required for this role and previous food service experience is helpful. Previous leadership/supervisor experience required.
