IS Support Tech I
Reporting to the Information Services Supervisor, the IS Support Tech provides prompt and accurate technical support ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The candidate will recognize and escalate problems in a timely manner to effectively resolve issues without compromising productivity. Additionally, the IS Support Tech must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment and take individual responsibility for resolving customer issues.
Essential Job Duties:
The IS Support Tech filters Held Desk calls and provides basic support and troubleshooting, such as password resets, printer configurations, break/fix instructions, ticket routing and escalation to Level 2 support; assists with installation and management of computer equipment and related peripherals; collaborates with IS team to deliver excellent customer service in solving computer problems.
