Develops and administers programs to maintain buildings, grounds and equipment in accordance with regulations and administrative guidelines for an acute care facility. Directs the repair, reconstruction and construction of the Medical Center's physical plant, equipment and its contents. Works with consultants and staff to develop, design and execute both new construction and existing renovation projects for MMCSC. Responsible for physical plant aspects of JCAHO inspections. Insure that [unit/department/division] is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.
High School graduate, or equivalent required. Minimum of eight years Plant Maintenance management and new construction project management experience required. Certification as Stationery Engineer (Third Class, or higher), Facilities Engineer, or Building Maintenance Operator required. Excellent communication, public speaking and interpersonal skills required.
