Summary of Job Function: Under the direction of the VP, Southern Region Business Development & Director, Project Management at MMC Business Development Division, the Program Coordinator will operate, manage and support breast imaging retention initiative as determined by southern region leadership. The key responsibilities include but not limited to (1) collaborate with BHMG practices to follow-up on breast imaging referrals and appointment scheduling; (2) collaborate with southern region hospital based breast imaging leadership to follow through on breast imaging navigation process in all dimensions in order to facilitate appointment making outcomes; (3) collaborate with other key entities and stakeholders (JV partners, Call Center and Centralizing Scheduling leadership) to support breast imaging care related coordination through the breast imaging journey. Program coordinator will work with medical group, hospital based and JV breast imaging programs, and southern region leadership to track project status, perform data outcomes analysis, and provide report/presentation to support management needs. He/she will perform under the concepts of the High Reliability Organization guidelines and is also responsible for reporting, identify safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors.
Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and experience as a coordinator in health related field is a must.
Medical group working experience and familiar with RWJBH outpatient imaging scheduling process is preferred.
Must possess excellent organizational, time management, strong customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
Strong sales skills, excellent communication and formal presentation skills required.
Well-developed administrative abilities and leadership skills necessary.
Proficient in Windows-based computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
