This position will assist the Plant Operations, Power Plant, and Biomed departments with all daily functions such as, but not limited to: Dispatch, work order management and General filing. Access to demographic information and limited Patient Health Information related to job function.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC DUTIES:
â�¢ Manages the computerized work order system accurately and effectively for the Plant Operations/Bio-Medical department, including, web requests, all equipment and associated on demand and preventive maintenance work orders and dispatch to proper trade.
â�¢ Generate scheduled PM for all skills on a monthly basis.
â�¢ Documents, organizes and maintains files to ensure easy access to records, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
â�¢ May need to drive a company vehicle during business hours
â�¢ Provides established and custom reports for Plant Operations and BioMed departments for trending and other decision support
â�¢ Maintain and update all employee files for Engineering, Power Plant and Bio-Medical departments. (Filing compliance records, evaluations, LOA documentation, and yearly Health and Safety evaluations).
â�¢ Demonstrates proficiency in usage of computer software and related programs.
â�¢ Provide Supervisors with employee compliance, timeliness of work completed, complaints or recognition from customers and accuracy in completed work orders for evaluation purposes.
â�¢ Continuously works with Plant and BioMed personnel to maintain accurate categorization and naming conventions for Plant and BioMed equipment on the work order computer system
â�¢ Maintain communication/work request to Venders (gardeners, Rotor Rooter, etc).
â�¢ Create and Track POs for Engineering, Power Plant and BioMed department.
â�¢ Maintains up-to-date preventive maintenance records for all Plant and BioMed equipment
â�¢ Maintains accurate and up-to-date inventory records/files for Plant and BioMed equipment
â�¢ Provides Customer service and secretarial duties
â�¢ Answers the telephone, records and dispatches work order requests as needed
â�¢ Ability to be pleasant and courteous to all Vendors, Contractors and general public
â�¢ Ability to assist other departments. (Disease & Infection Control, Quality, Finance, Material Mgmt. etc.)
â�¢ High School Diploma or GED
â�¢ Working knowledge of PCâ��s and PC software, with emphasis on hospital supported software applications (currently Microsoft Office and Outlook)
â�¢ Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally
â�¢ Good organization skills
â�¢ Good communication skills
â�¢ Ability to take initiative, and work without close supervision
â�¢ Current California driverâ��s license; a copy of the renewed license will need to be submitted upon renewal. Evidence of current car insurance; a copy of the renewed car insurance will be need to submitted upon renewal.
â�¢ A Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be completed at time of hire and on an annual basis thereafter.
â�¢ Experience working with and meeting regulatory requirements
â�¢ Experience with medical equipment/facilities terminology
â�¢ Experience with Plant Operations/Facilities work order systems
