Responsible to support the Finance Director. The support includes but isnï¿½t limited to work involving monthly E-Reserve, monthly analysis of items/trends that significantly impact net revenue. Provide support of revenue department Directors revenue cycle process for Tenet assigned duties. Working knowledge of patient accounting system, contract management system assisting in validating current Payer contract terms are loaded accurately and assist in variances review in payer payment to contract expected payment. Support/coordinate/monitor the following: Denial meetings, chart audit meetings, compliance, charge master review/updates, pass through invoice claims, Complex in-house patient review, revenue cycle meetings, internal/external audit assistance, refund management, legal collection activity and patient advocacy issues regarding revenue cycle including price transparency work.
Bachelors Degree in a business related field. Able to read, write and speak English.
Hospital billing experience 3- 5 years also required. Meditech modules and NThrive experience preferred.
Required Good Analytical skills.
Microsoft office software proficiency, including excel, word, power point is preferred.
To perform in these duties, a current understanding of the Revenue cycle, contractual payment methods by payers is needed.
