This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, experienced dentist to lead the MMC General Practice Residency program.
As Program Director, the candidate would ensure that the residency program runs effectively and its dental residents successfully learn the required clinical and didactic material. More About This Position:
- Hospital sponsored, community based General Practice Residency program
- Fully accredited GPR by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- Overseeing 8 residents with an emphasis on comprehensive dental treatment and total patient care
Candidate Requirements:
- Graduation from a General Practice Residency Program is required
- DDS/DMD in Dentistry
- 5+ years of teaching experience in a clinical setting
- Previous program leadership is preferred

About Monmouth Medical Center's General Practice Residency Program:
The Monmouth Medical Center's General Practice Residency Program is a one year, with an optional second year, graduate training program in General Dentistry. Training is focused on all disciplines of dentistry including oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, periodontics and oral facial pain. The program also focuses it’s training on Special Patient Care with treatment in the operating room under general anesthesia as well as treatment under Conscious Sedation. The program, which works closely with the local federally qualified health center, stresses interdisciplinary professional education with rotations and interactions with the hospital’s emergency department, anesthesia, radiology and medicine. The Monmouth Medical Center General Practice Residency Program is a strong educational training program that prepares its residents for the next stage in their professional career.
